Product Benefits (Pre-schoolers)

“We recognise that technology is at the fore of change. Our educators must harness the possibilities that it brings to teaching and learning. Nevertheless, the heart of teaching and learning is not just about having more technology in the classroom. Our people – our dedicated teachers and visionary school leaders - are at the heart of effective teaching and learning. “

-Mr Ng Chee Meng, Former Minister For Education (Schools) from 2016 to 2018

Benefits of Game-based learning:

  1. Inhibitory Control
It helps to train the focus of the child in doing task at hand and not getting distracted as easily by temptations. E.g. Resisting the thought of playing with his/her toys when a child is doing his/her homework.

  2. Working Memory
It helps to increase the capacity of memory (short term memory) in a child’s brain as he/she will have to use their working memory to remember the instructions/rules and cards to match when playing the game. This in return helps the child to remember more information when studying/learning.

  3. Cognitive Flexibility
It trains the child’s cognitive flexibility as it lets them switch their thinking/understanding based on the environment/situation they are in to get their desired outcome. Our card game has varying game modes, so your child will be exposed to experimenting with different possibilities to win.

  4. Motivation
It heightens the child’s motivation to learn through fun interaction learning process instead of just sitting through mundane lessons. E.g. learning different shapes and numbers through play instead of lesson-based learning

  5. Social Skills
The children will be exposed to a high interaction group play, which can help improve their social skills.

  6. Improvements in Fine Motor Skills
The card game helps in the development of fine motor skills through flipping and matching of cards

Benefits of Augmented Reality Learning:

  1. Promote Active Behaviour and Increase Attention Span towards learning
It allows your child to engage with the object and discover many new things on their own, which can lead to an increase initiative towards learning, thus improving learning results. Moreover, it will increase the attention span of the child in learning as it is interesting and interactive for them.

  2. Increased Ease Of Learning Of New Technologies
The technology in the world is advancing every day, by exposing your child to technology (such as augmented reality) at an early age makes it easier not only for them to learn, it also acts as a stepping stone for them to relate newer technologies in the future.

  3. Increased Learning Outcomes
Children will be able to learn more or understand better with the help of augmented reality compared to only lesson-based learning. For example, learning more about animals/vehicles through augmented reality will be easier to understand compared to just looking at an image. Our Augmented reality app has additional functions such as the ability to rotate the 3D model around and the ability to zoom in to the parts you want to see more clearly. Parts of the object can be highlighted with pronunciation for clearer understanding.
